I order within minutes of them going on sale, I was already losing hope
as the site with experiencing difficulties dealing with the load. I
ordered through RS Components (Farnell was practically down bt the time
I got there). On April 12 they e-mailed me saying I could order, but
missed it as gmail put it in my spam folder... anyway I discovered this
error on the 17th ordered it within minutes and since they were dealing
with orders in order of the 'registering of interest' I was still able
to get one. (I was order # 1525)
According to the raspberry pi website if you ordered through element14
and order before April 18th, you should recieve it by the end of June.
(hopefully sooner) I hope you get your pi soon.

don't mind me asking, when did you order and through who? Did you have
to wait for one of those "Thank you for registering interest, you can
order now" emails?
I'm hoping mine had already shipped and the August 16 date is just a
default that never updated.
