I am using Debian 6.0 but hibernate doesn't work for me.
Anybody tried hibernate on Debian 7.0 who also had trouble
with 6.0.

Ralph Boland

I installed Wheezy 7.0 on my netbook. It's working well. I know its version 7.0
and NOT 7.1, but I am still impressed so far.
My eeePC can be set to suspend on time outs and is set to hibernate on critical
low power.

But I will try hibernate it later. Got to head out the door for now.

If my hunch is correct, most if not all of these kind of issues could be fixed
in version 7.0 Debian (Wheezy).

I will be distro upgrading someones Debian squeeze soon. He has an old Dell and
some fairly new hardware. Could let you know how it goes.

Talk to you later,

Mel
