I am happy to announce that CMake 2.8.5 has entered the release candidate stage! You can find the source and binaries here: http://www.cmake.org/files/v2.8/?C=M;O=D
Hi Dave: Has bug 9220 been fixed for this release candidate? http://public.kitware.com/Bug/view.php?id=9220 says it is targeted for 2.8.5, but there doesn't seem to be any mention of it in the 2.8.5-rc1 Changelog you posted. I would really like to see this bug properly fixed for 2.8.5 since the workaround you suggested long ago of invoking a cmake session from within your principal cmake session to independently test language support has limitations. For example, it is difficult to propagate user-specified compilers or compiler flags from the principal cmake session to the test cmake session because there are so many different ways for the user to specify compiler or compiler flags. Once there is a proper fix for 9220, I would be happy to help test it. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
