The following issue has been SUBMITTED. ====================================================================== http://www.cmake.org/Bug/view.php?id=15242 ====================================================================== Reported By: Ilya Assigned To: ====================================================================== Project: CMake Issue ID: 15242 Category: CMake Reproducibility: always Severity: feature Priority: normal Status: new ====================================================================== Date Submitted: 2014-11-11 13:00 EST Last Modified: 2014-11-11 13:00 EST ====================================================================== Summary: Teach the "cmake -E echo" command to write to a file. Description: There are commands to create files, copy files and print strings to stdout. And cmake already supports the file(WRITE) command.
Having a cross-platform solution to write to files or at least to create files with content would be awesome. ====================================================================== Issue History Date Modified Username Field Change ====================================================================== 2014-11-11 13:00 Ilya New Issue ====================================================================== -- Powered by www.kitware.com Please keep messages on-topic and check the CMake FAQ at: http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/CMake_FAQ Kitware offers various services to support the CMake community.
