Thank you Brad, I wasn't setting CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH because it didn't show up by default in the list of cache variables after generating. I added it manually and it just worked. At first all I was doing was enabling QT dialog in config, regenerating, and then changed the path that it wanted for qtmake.exe.
