Devs, I've just put up a merge request that gives the ExternalProject documentation a bit of a makeover. It's a pretty complicated module and I'd appreciate a few sets of eyes, particularly from those who have had plenty of experience using that module. I'm still a little shaky on whether I've accurately presented the handling of step targets, so comments around that would be especially welcome.
