The variable used to activate it: https://cmake.org/cmake/help/v3.11/variable/CMAKE_LANG_CLANG_TIDY.html works by initializing a property used to activate it: https://cmake.org/cmake/help/v3.11/prop_tgt/LANG_CLANG_TIDY.html as each target is created. If in the third-party subdirectory you set the variable to empty then none of its targets will get the behavior. -Brad -- Powered by www.kitware.com Please keep messages on-topic and check the CMake FAQ at: http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/CMake_FAQ Kitware offers various services to support the CMake community.
