Thank you for answering.

I googled the "NSStatusItem" and I'm not quite sure I understand what you
mean. I guess putting the application in the Finder/Application menu could
be done without modifying the source code ? I want to put a shortcut/the
application to the bundle automaticaly with the installer (.dmg). Of what I
understood of my readings, NSStatusItem is for placing the application in
the status bar. I am really a MacOSX noob so excuse my misunderstanding
