Yes, the same problem persists.

I started with a clean builddir.  Changed all references to use the
actual file, not symlinks.

Called make using the actual file, not symlinks.

The build succedded. and teh binary works.

    But I still have the same problem:    %1 is not a valid Win32 application

I cannot get cpack to build the NSIS installer correctly.
