This:

SET(CMAKE_OSX_ARCHITECTURES "$(ARCHS_STANDARD_32_BIT)")
seems to result in a "standard" Xcode setting (armv7 (standard)) which is also 
set when you let Xcode create a fresh iOS app (from its own templates).

But you also see this a lot on the fora:
SET(CMAKE_OSX_ARCHITECTURES "$(ARCHS_UNIVERSAL_IPHONE_OS)")

Not sure.
