Raymond, the web page explains how to build from sources. That is the 3rd way of installing CMake. 1. apt-get install cmake 2. Bash installer or manually unpacking .tar.gz. eg. cmake-3.12.3-Linux-x86_64.tar.gz wget -O cmake-linux.sh https://cmake.org/files/v3.12/cmake-3.12.3-Linux-x86_64.sh sudo sh cmake-linux.sh -- --skip-license --prefix=/usr/local 3.
