Is the cast too tight or not will answer that?  My son broke his arm and
had a cast that was too tight in one area and when the cast was removed
there was a pressure ulcer.  On the other hand, at the time he was an
active 4 year old and the edge of the properly fitting new cast would
rub with activity creating a "cast burn" which was not a pressure area.
