Anything else you're treating her for?  Infection?  Wounds?  Changing blood
sugars?  What's her condition?  Besides, if you need another week, you'd
need to wait 8-10 days to do an OMRA anyway, and maybe yoiu'd get enough
visits by Drs & orders to maintain it.  Also, are you maybe doing
restorative w/o weight bearing to maintain muscle strength & ROM?  (Hint,
hint)

  We have a resident who has a tibial plateau fracture.  She was initially
picked up for medicare.  Dr has just said she will be NWB until Jan 29th at
least.  Therapy cannot justify treating her any longer.  Can we put her into
a low category for at least a week until she would be in the 30 day window
to pick her back up?  Can a letter of medical predictability be issued now?
