We had a respiratory therapist from our
local hospital come and do an in service. We taped it and it is part of the
mandatory viewing for new employees. Has worked well.

What we usually do is have someone
come in to inservice and train staff. The inservice attendance serves as
the evidence that the nurses have been trained.

does anyone have a competency they use to check nurses
off for respiratory treatments?
I am just beginning to use resp. rehab and have never
done this before. How do you show your nurses have been trained as stated in
the rai manual????
