I am also curious as to the answer. It is correct that each state has its own eligibility requirements for Medicaid. However, I do remember that when I lived in Mass. there were NYS residents placed in Mass nursing homes due to a bed shortage in NYS. I would imagine in that circumstance you would enter the Medicaid Number on the MDS. Of course that was 10 years ago and that scenario may not exist anymore. |
