Just a comment. One year in survey we spent a whole lot of time proving communication between hospice and us, that the IDCP was a joint effort etc. As a result, we now do a sig change if they go to hospice. Hospice comes to care conference etc. No lack of documentation or confusion about it etc anymore.

This is not about the end of life issue but resident moving to hospice: Do you fill out a significant change status when the resident is moved to hospice or is this considered a expected change. |
