The AB1 date remains the same, as you indicated, and does not affect the fact that the 08 code should continue to be used on the discharge tracking form until an initial Admission Assessment has been completed.
I think another part of this situation is that you do get an error message from the state saying that your admission assessment is greater than 14 days from the admission date despite doing everything correctly as you have stated. Why does that message appear when the regs are being followed?
