The poignant photo essay of a couple's last cruise.
On February 17, 2005, Jan's doctor told her he was ending chemotherapy
for her liver cancer since it was ineffective. Jan asked if that meant a break
in the regular visits, and was told that it did. She responded that that was
good, since she had always wanted to take a cruise, and there hadn't been time
between appointments. The doctor said that if we were to take a cruise, that now
was the time to do so.
