this condition may be due to your ulnar nerve being compressed. I have yet to figure out why so many people are blaming Gleevec for all of their aches and pains. We are getting older and these conditions ar a normal part of aging. Also, many of us are not as active as we used to be, and when we try to do more activities, we injure muscles that have been inactive.
I know that I have back pain and some joint pain. I just attribute it to my natural aging process. I am now 53, 5 years older than when I first got sick. I did test for RA a few weeks ago, but I don't have it. So the joint pain is from..? I don't know, but I am not blaming it on IM. There must be another reason.
