Yes,
My Dr stopped all meds when my counts crashed.
They came back up to normal faily quickly and he put me back on 400 mgs.
I think this is a normal practice for blood crashing.

I had a question about my husbands white blood cell
counts. At his last blood test his WBC counts were
2.3, he had just got over a cold and the doctor said
to get his counts done 2 weeks later to see if they
were still down there. He just got the results and
they were still at 2.3. The doctor has suggested that
he come off his 400mg gleevec for 7-10 days then
re-assess his counts. We are rather scared about
stopping the treatment, does anyone know what the
guidelines are for WBC counts and stopping treatment.
