Cheryl (and all): Your story about your quest to "get to ASH" was inspiring. I am also looking forward to my first ASH visit. I am one of the earliest successful adult cord blood transplant survivors and will be at the NY Blood Center Booth (#129). I hope we can meet up. With all of the recent good news about cord blood as a viable stem cell source for adult leukemians, I am looking forward to continuing to serve as a message of hope for adult patients unable to find a marrow match.
