‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the list,
The posts were just brimming; such good news in our midst
The list members were all snuggled cozy in our beds,
With visions of a cure (and sugarplums – IM makes us hungry),
Danced in our heads; Mark and Cheryl, back from ASH their heads full of news,
Had just settled down for a long winter’s snooze,
When out in cyber space there a rose such a clatter,
We sprang to our computers to see what was the matter
The
moon on the
Gave a luster of mid-day to objects below
(Thought I’d throw that in for those of you in Southern Climes so you can
get a picture of how pretty it is here in the North, but I digress)
When what should our wondering eyes should show up,
But a magical sleigh with Santa and a bunch of Hem/Oncs!
More rapid then eagles the courses they came,
As Santa whistled and shouted and called them by name;
Now Druker, Sawyers, Talpaz, and Mauro,
We have to get this done before tomorrow
Come on Hochhaus, Holyoake, Laneuville and Nimer
Get to work – let’s pull an all-nighter!
They jumped from his sleigh and dashed to the lab
To compare their notes with the data they had
With so many patients reaching CCR and PCRU- thanks to IM
The Hem/Onc team was excited to get into action again
Up the dose of IM and add RAD001,
We’ll shut down BCR-ABL & mTor and send the Phillies on the run!
With AMN107 and BMS (with too many numbers)
Having CML is not such a bummer!

We have many reasons to make this Christmas Merry!
