Hi everyone,I just wanted to give you all an update on my dad. His condition has changed drastically and he needs as many prayers as he can get.He came to Houston to participate in the BMS trial at the end of Nov. He isn't yet on it because his platelets were low. They dropped so drastically over the weekend that he developed a blood clot on his brain that had to be removed on Sunday. He has been in ICU ever since. He might not make it. He was doing better Monday and Tuesday, but he had a set back today. There is no new bleeding in his brain, but he has swelling (which is normal), but his heart is irregular and beating too fast, so they are trying to regulate him.My mom and I flew out to Houston as soon as we found out about the emergency surgery and have been by his side. Please say a few prayers for him. He is weak and unable to speak or open his eyes right now, but he knows we are with him and we are trying to reassure him. If everything goes like we want it to he could recover fully.Thanks for all your support.Christine
