Dane,
Earlier I posted a letter which was similiar in sentiment (but it did
not appear on the list). I am saddened to hear of your news but I
do know that you are a fighter, and will soon find another treatment
at MDACC. I'm arriving on the 10th &11th in search of new treatments
also. It's difficult though to deal with the news and in light of
everything else currently in the news, ....well...let's just say it's
enough to anger anyone! Hang in there though....and please, take the
time you need to think things over, and then find the strength to
deal with it.

Christine, I do think you are fortunate that your dad was at MDACC
during this crisis. They are exceptionally good there! Many of them
are truely dedicated to saving lives! I hope your father can get
over this hurdle and does well soon.

Regarding Sandra, I must say I am shocked too. I guess we all have
such a strong belief in fighting this battle, that when one falls, it
is as though a battle has been lost. Those of us who were together in
the 90's, have lost many a dear friend. When we posted, many of us
had no idea how much time we had. Those who were hanging on gave us
the strength to fight this war. Now, most are gone. It's real tough
to lose a member of the CML family. Wow...:(

I'm concerned about our dear Tracey too. I know she was struggling
with treatment and was looking at other options. If anyone has any
word on her condition, please post and let us know. I think of her
often as she is another long time member who has been through the ups
and downs of this disease. We used to feel as though we had a
ticking bomb inside of us waiting to go off. Unfortunately, at some
point, we all have to deal with this possibility. It's not a
pleasant thought. Life is fragile...we must truely appreciate each
and every day we live.

Take care dear friends.
Dianne
