Dear Dane, My prayers are with you. I truly believe though that it
will not be the CML that gets us; it will be something else. I spent
Christmas night in the hospital after an episode of having severe
pain in the chest area after not being able to swallow some nuts. By
the time I got to the hospital I also had a migraine! Bloodwork
showed one of the cardiac enzymes was elevated. After all the
elevated LFT's yet another enzyme!! Well, anyway it wasn't the one
that shows for sure if you had a heart attack it was another one.
The one doc thought it was the stress from the spasm and migraine
that elevated it but I still have to see a cardiologist.My point is
we just never know! You will continue to be in my thoughts and
