Hi Andrea,

Are you missing some of your report here? The cytogenetic report
that you mention doesn't give much detail. Usually they mark how
many cells were looked at and how many were normal or how many had
the philadelphia chromosome. If there were other clonal evolutions
it would also be marked in the cytogenetic report. All this report
says is that you're female, which I guess you already knew :) and
that you have the normal number of chromosomes (46).

The rest is the PCR report which basically says that from September
to November there wasn't much difference. I wouldn't be worried
about this though because two months is not a lot of time to see a
big difference in PCR numbers. We've seen from people on the list
that the PCR numbers continue to go down even after several years of
treatment.

You probably know that the holy grail of PCR response is a 3 log
reduction. You have already achived a 2.1 log reduction which is
great so in the months to come they will want to see if you continue
to go down to finally achive the 3 logs.

I can't remember how long you've been on Gleevec but all in all, it
looks like you're responding nicely.

Take care,
Tracey
