Hi Diane,
My 13 yr old daughter is experiencing the same, i thought she was trying to get out of doing her chores when she told me about the numbness on her feet. She told me that when she stands too long she starts to feel the pins and needles and every so often she has cramps on her ankles. The numbness is new to her, so I haven't talked to her pediatrician about it yet, but she has an appt next week to see him. As for the cramps, she used to have severe leg cramps and also on her feet, but over time that has improved. I'm glad you mentioned this so i can ask the right questions.
