To fellow coldies & thin skins:
I have been on 600mg of Gleevec for 3 3/4 years. I am convinced that the 
Gleevec has removed my outside skin level (epidermis?). I am not only always 
cold, but even a slight draft makes me cold. I am the only one I come in 
contact with who has this problem. I think that the easlily breaking of the 
skin by only touching something with an edge relates to the lack of an outer 
skin. My counts have always been below the normal range and have been on 
thyroid meds for a while. The side effects work differently on each of us, 
but my list is quite long. Most have been reduced with meds other than the 
fatigue problem.  Beats the alternative!
