Hello Jo,

You're probably not the only 'lurker' around here! And that's
perfectly OK!

Since you mentioned diet, I'd like to mention an herbal remedy that
I've been taking for over 2 years. It's called 'Milk Thistle'.
After taking Gleevec (400mg) for about 18 months, I had a couple of
blood reports come back with a higher than normal SGOT value. I
started taking 175mg of Milk Thistle daily, and it took about 2
months for my liver enzyme counts to normalize. I take it about
twice a week now. It is supposed to help the liver detoxify itself.
(I also drink lots of water, & avoid alcohol too!) I also kept my
doctor informed about what I was taking.

This is just my results. I'm passing this information on, in the
event Bob might want to try it.

Best Regards,
Gale Bacon
