Thanks to all of you for your responses and information concerning my son and his bad bone marrow experience. I'm sure he will be much more outgoing the next time. I think if things aren't going well he will tell them to stop and find someone else. He is a 3rd year med student so I don't think he will be too shy about stopping the procedure. He knows that some of the Dr.'s aren't as well gifted in some areas as others as he works with them each day.
He will see a specialist at University of Kentucky this coming Wednesday (some Christmas present) and hopefully things will go better there. He said he thinks they will also try to do a bone marrow biopsy because of this one this week and having no marrow to test. He isn't looking forward to that and I don't blame him.
I just wanted to thank each of you for being there and for all of your care and support. It is so nice to have a place to go to have questions answered and I am most grateful.
Many many thanks,
Penny
