Hi John,   Ken has a lot of side effects that he has learned to live with.   When he is tired he rests if he has any energy we do something. He has had his problems with cramping yes in his arches just like you.  He was in full remission on Interferon but had to go off because of the side effects and they did him in almost lost his memory and was getting confused. After going off Interferon for two months because he really wanted a break he already went out of remission but once Gleevec started he went back in to remission.  We went to his doctor yesterday and his blood counts are great the doctor said he is very pleased with his results and figures he will continue Gleevec forever.   He is usually very tired, has no energy, bone pain, thin skin bruises and bleeds easily, cramps, dry skin but not as bad as on Interferon.  He has short term memory loss from Interferon which is not reversible.  He sleeps very good. As you can see below I made a mistake in the year I told you before that he started Gleevec. Dx in 1999 Interferon Sept. 1999 until Nov. 2002 Gleevec Feb 2003 present time.   Take Care   Kay wife to Ken
