I hope the increased dose will help. If it does not some have gone as high as 
800 mg and got good results. The new AMN and BMS drugs are in various clinical 
trial locations and he should be able to get access to a trial location if that 
is needed. Those drugs have had very good results.

Hello everyone,Randy(husband)went to his onc. today for his fish test
results.He is still 50% positive after 6 months.They checked at 4
months and it was 50% so it has not went down at all.The doctor
increased his gleevec from 400 to 600.So now I guess we just wait.He
did say that there were new drugs that are almost available if this
does not work.I am wondering how long he  will have to be on this 600mg
befor we know if it is going to work for him. If that wasn't enough for
the day he tells us that he is moving away at the end of this month! We
are in rural Illinois there are not alot of CML doctors around
