Larry.     I live in Louisville.  I go to the Brown cancer center for my treatment and it is going very well.  Like i said I've had cml since 1999,  maybe longer and just didn't know it.  I started out on interferon which is was very hard on the body.  Their were some days i wasn't sure i was going to make it.  Thank God gleevec was approved by the FDA as soon as it was.   I Have lost some great friends to this monster but,  I have made some wonderful friends too My Doctor is the one who started the transplant unit there in Lexington.   He is a great Doctor and a great person..     How about you,  How are you doing.   A friend from Kentucky :Doris --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ [CMLHope] A support group of http://cmlhope.com ------------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CMLHope" group.
