Yes, Jim has neuropathy. His started shortly after starting Interferon. He has tried so many different meds to try to help this, but unfortunately nothing helps much. So I can't tell you this is a side effect of gleevec - maybe part of CML. Jim has injections in his back and sometimes that relieves it a little otherwise he takes morphine and sometimes that helps. Standing relieves some of the pain but a person can't stand 24/7. Hopefully your dr. will have another suggestion. I will be anxious to hear what he has to say.
