  I am sorry that Joe failed the Dasatinib trial, what is his doctor
suggesting next?

  If there is active CML which is not being controlled, the red blood
cell indices will not be normal.  MCV is to do with the size of the red
blood cells and MCH is the hemoglobin in the red blood cells.  A rise
in both can indicate anemia.  Joe only has a slight elevation of these
parameters.  See website below:

   Do you know why Joe failed Dasatinib?  One reason is the development
of a mutation called T315I and if Joe had this, then there is another
drug trial targeting the T315I mutation.  The drug is VX-680 from Merck
and is in Phase I trials at MDACC.
