Give it a couple of weeks to see if it settles down. If not, then
maybe he can get on a Nilotinib trial. During last night's LLS
teleconference, boths Drs. Druker and Shah enmphasized the need for
patients willing to participate in these trials.

My words of comfort are that it is very likely that there will be a
workable solution for your husband. It may involve the use of multiple
agent therapies. If he hasn't done so already, he needs to hook up
with one of the major academic research institutions that are working
on CML. Besides Sprycel and Gleevec, there are 8 second and third
generation agents currently under investigation.

Keep us all informed.
