Hi Everyone, I'm Ricardo and I live in Brazil. My son was diagnosed LMC last year by may 9th ( 520000 counts). He is on Glivec since may 25th. The first 6 months were terrible to deal with the side effects - this 2008 the side effects diminished. Today is his aniversary ( 19 years old) and I'm very happy because he is alive and doing ok so far. It's very nice for me to join this group. I have hope that we're going to overcome this disease.
