Hello all-- Been a long time since posting on anything having to do with CML, because my husband had been doing so well, first with Gleevec (despite the diarrhea) (we joked he was pooping leukemia cells out)--but then Gleevec seemed to stop working.
The rise in his molecular Philly chromosome cells seems miniscule, but it was rising, so he's on Sprycel and it's still rising!!! He feels fine, and the numbers are low enough so we're not really that worried, but should we be worried? What next should we try? He harvested stem cells when he hit zero some time in December of 2001, but of course we worry about graft vs host anyway in a stem cell transplant situation. Thanks!!!
