Hi Joan...I've been on gleevec since April 01 and finally figured out
what works for me. Often, after what I believed was a "good meal", I
couldn't keep the drug down and would loose the whole meal and feel
pretty bad. Now I take the pills in the middle of a Dr Atkins
chocolate shake. And it works...no nausea or vomiting. So, I no
longer take it with a meal, just the shake. Also, I do take a low
dose, 300 mg/day. I'm really glad to be alive and thankful for the
drug. This issue is not too bad considering. Good luck to you. Betsy
