Yes, it works with DMSPIPE, but then DMSPIPE does not support CMS multitasking to the extent plastic pipes do.
POSIX(OFF) is a LE option, not a PING option. If it weren't that I ought to keep my trap shut, I'd say the finger points squarely in that direction.
