I've been working with on that Rob offline. As near as I can tell the silly base64 encoding seems to be due to his Verse server thinking his mail contains non mail-safe characters, although I've manually decoded the base64 and don't see any obvious candidates. It is also possible someone thought it was a smart idea to make that the default behavior for his server (or it could even be that Rob is still using the fat Notes client and has MIME settings dictating that behavior). Anyway, rather than trying to get that sorted, he decided to try to use his old vnet.ibm.com alias instead of Notes but it didn't work because it is on an ancient SPAM honeypot list. I've assigned him a new vnet alias and hopefully that will work. -- bc
