I think some listers may use Pure 5 micron water filters, 9 3/4 long x 2 1/2
inches diameter.?

If you do, I have "discovered" a case of 30 brand new filters.? Before I eBay
them, I'm offering them to the list.? I'll sell them in lots of 5 for $10 plus
shipping.

Please contact me off list if you're interested.

Harry,

What are the fairing strips alongside the rudder made of? I haven't seen
those before.

The admiral and I spent Saturday afternoon hoisting icicle light strings to
form the outline of a Christmas tree in the foretriangle of Touche'. Put a
big lighted snowflake on top. The tree top was about 3/4 way to the
masthead. Six crisscrossing strands of more icicle lights made like strands
of tinsel draped back and forth between the light strings forming the
outline of the tree.

The evening was perfect. Almost no wind, absolutely flat water, temp in the
low 60's. Around dark, immediately after Mandeville's holiday parade on the
lakefornt, we joined 6 other boats and paraded back and forth off the
lakefront. We could see lots of people wandering the lakefront. Lots of
flashbulbs from the crowd. The mayor judged the entrants. Touche' got first
prize. YAY!

Pics on request. :)

Happy Holidays, everyone!!

I just found these filters for the same price I offered so now my price is 10
for $10.? The brand is Pure T, not Pure.?

They look like a 10 inch long piece of pool noodle.?

If no takers in 10 days, they're headed for the recycle bin.

This is a pretty mundane request, but do any of you have suggestions re getting
the slides or carriers for cabin window curtains in a C&C 29-2?

These folks seem to stock a lot of different options, might be something
suitable in their catalogue:

Ken,

Mine are fiberglass..easy and cheap to reproduce. Wax paper, a flat
surface, cloth, and West epoxy. They are attached to the trailing edge of
the keel/skeg with adhesive and/or screws. I am going to try just screws
this year to ease removal for painting/inspection in the off season. Bronze
and Mylar are also good choices.

I used a piece of nylon line in place of the clips.

C&C 39 Northeast? Is that what you said? Looks very different than the
C&C39 in the brochure section.

Can you tell me more on the history of this model? Has very nice lines
