I like this look. It is probably painted alwgrip. I believe it can be achieved by painting the bottom stripe which is tapered. Then add 2" wide tape 1" above and 1 1/2" tape 1" above that. The tapes end before the transom, so don't wrap under. I'd love to do my boat that way.
