Sorry, completion post.

Serenity is a late 70s C&C 33.  Coincident with installing an auto bilge pump 
the quadrant came apart.  The original equipment manufacturer is no longer in 
business.  
Edson makes an equivalent replacement.  They will need the precise diameter.  
Should consider replacing the pulleys and chain if they are of the same 
vintage.  The parts cost me under $500, the labor was over $1500, since the gas 
tank had to be removed to access a tight space.
