I have sailed Annapolis to Bermuda 3 times. Bermuda is *AN* island, not a
chain of islands. It is very different from the any other islands you will
go to. Far from being 3rd world, Bermuda is very 1st world. The beaches and
water are fantastic. Sailing can be great, but not a lot of people sail
place-to-place once they get there.

I've never sailed Bermuda, but I've sailed the BVI's and the Bahamas. I
prefer the BVI's for the sailing and the destinations. What's Bermuda like
compared to the BVI's? Wind? Destinations? Is it one island or are there
lots of places to go?

Rick,

I've sailed to or from Bermuda 8 times and have spent quite a bit of
time on the island over the years.

I recommend you and everyong sail down there and enjoy it.

Cheers
Colin
