Bummer - I was thinking Portsmouth was in Maine, but obviously Virgina -- little too long a run for me! Does not look like the C&C 29 Mk2 I was looking at locally will go ahead - owner advised me that he turned down an offer of $19000 already.  I told him I would be offering lower than that and he has not responded.  I have another C&C 29Mk2 to look at, a couple C&C 30's as well as 2 Mirage 30's and a Mirage 29 that may be options (provided they are willing to be reasonable on price - listed from $24000-$33000) Little bummed out at my failed timing.  I had been watching all the boats for a while - one C&C32 disappeared off the broker listings.  Was listed for $30000, diesel, looked like good condition - just noticed it came up on Kijiji (online private classified) for just $16500 - I emailled right away but it sold that day!!!! Arrrgggg!!
