Or you could get one of those Merriman folding wheels that come already covered; I bought the 40 inch model three boats ago and love it; I have kept it when I traded boats... the covering is first rate and has held up well. I do keep it covered when not using the boat and it gets stored inside the boat during winter; the "other" wheel makes a nice garage decoration...
