Forgot to include a link for vessel search in the first response:
If you are saying that it has always been documented and ownership has
changed, then you can re-document it yourself quite easily. All of the
information you need to fill out the simple forms is already contained
in the existing documentation. A vessel not previously documented
requires some measuring that can be a little confusing, but is also a
do-it-yourself for just about anyone.

If you do not have a copy of the old documentation, go here and search
by name to find your boat.

Once you document the boat in your name, you will receive a renewal form
automatically every year.

Mirage was documented since day one. It is now time to renew it. I
have never done this before. Is it an easy process, or is it worth
having a service do it for a fee?
