But Dennis, I think you have a freshly painted hull I guess with some 2 part polyurethane paint, like Awlgrip or Imron or I can't remember what you said but I rememberr seeing some nice pictures of an older 35 MKI hull called Touche nicely refinished. so what do you do now to keep it good and shiny every season?

Rubbing compound in the hands of someone who isn't experienced can remove to much material and expose the underlying structure. I use AquaBuff 2000 and find it works just fine. I can obtain the results shown in the picture with the AquaBuff 2000. I also have AquaBuff 1000 but rarely use it. I like the AquaBuff better than 3M Finesse-It. I use a Porter Cable DA polisher/sander with a polishing bonnet or foam pad and a sprayer to keep the surface wet. I see he likes Awlcare. Great stuff.
