| I tried to replace the impeller on my Sherwood 9000k raw water pump today. I put the impeller on the shaft and then attempted to get the cover and O-ring back on. I could not get the O-ring to stay in the recessed groove so that I could reassemble it. It pops out on its own as soon as I let go of it, so there is no way to hold it in place and fit the cover over the impeller. I hope someone knows the trick I am missing.
